In 2019, N41 oversaw the refit of an 85-meter Lürssen superyacht at West Istanbul Marina, delivering one of the most technically ambitious projects in our experience.
The scope included a full hull repaint, including MD inner bulwark and waterline, using the AWLGrip system (primer + topcoat). The entire process was carried out while the yacht remained afloat — a first at this scale in Turkey.
To execute this, we collaborated with Undercover Solutions (Palma de Mallorca), who installed full scaffolding and shrink wrap, and Thraki Yacht Painting, a top-tier refinishing specialist from Germany, responsible for the high-precision painting.
One of the most challenging elements was painting the waterline, achieved by carefully transferring ballast between tanks to create controlled heel angles — allowing each side to be exposed without dry docking.
